 Our Process

Our established 5-step process not only provides guidance and balance, but it ensures you get the candidate you need. Throughout our process, we work closely with clients and candidates alike to ensure an efficient, effective and positive experience, providing the highest quality candidates - not the highest number of resumes or CVs.

  • 1. Requirements

    We gather a detailed understanding of your needs, and then search for indispensable key talent that have the right skill sets. Then we engage with candidates that we have been developing relationships for years to assess their temperament and personality. It sounds simple enough, but it requires a well-developed understanding of the role AND an understanding of what drives an individual candidate. Matching superb candidates with great opportunities is the goal.

  • 2. Sourcing or Recruitment

    With highly-specialized search expertise, we find the talent that others miss. We keep track of people by utilizing a sophisticated candidate tracking system that includes comprehensive information on professionals who may not be actively searching for a new job but are receptive to entertaining just the right offer. You won't find these people through many of our competitors, and you certainly won't see them on a job board. But we know who they are, where they are and what it would take to interest them to take the next step in their career. Job boards don't find great candidates, WarHorse Executive Search does.

  • 3. Selection

    Once candidates have been identified through the search and selection process, the most appropriate candidates move forward in the process which includes interviewing. The purpose of the selection process is to ensure that the best person or people are appointed to the role or roles using effective, fair and equitable assessment activities.

  • 4. Placement

    Interviewing: Complete and honest feedback coupled with tailored advice during the entire interview process thus ensuring a smooth and seamless hiring transition.
    Acceptance: Consultation and negotiation of all elements surrounding an employment offer. "Hands-on" involvement to ensure that the candidate identified gets hired and stays hired.

  • 5. Post Placement/Follow-Up

    We want to make sure we got it correct - for everyone’s sake. Here’s how we make sure that happens:
    Contact client in 30 days and again in 90 days to assess satisfaction levels. Monitor candidate’s progress comparing them to goals that were outlined in the beginning of the search. Gauge client satisfaction level regarding WarHorse Executive Search ‘s placement process within 30 days. Continual contact with both Client and Candidate.
